Decades of drainage and development have altered the natural ecosystem, leading to a decline in water quality that threatens the abundance of wildlife it hosts, as well as the surrounding human environment. Friends of the Everglades LIVE recording available now!   Hi manoj,   Stop the Burn campaign leader Christine Louis Jeune painted a vivid picture today as she described what its like to race around the house closing windows and doors against smoke and ash when the smell from nearby sugarcane burns permeates the air.
